Coastal Orange County

Explore Coastal Orange County

There are incredibly beautiful sunsets, epic surfing and fresh-caught seafood when traveling Orange County’s gorgeous 42 miles of surf and sand. What you will cherish most is the unexpected discoveries because learning to surf the waves in at the world famous Huntington Beach Pier or Trestles Beach, playing fetch with your dogs at Huntington Dog Beach, Duffy boating around Newport Harbor, strolling First Thursday Art Walk in Laguna Beach, or whales watching and sport fishing out of Dana Point harbor are some of the most exciting activities to do in Coastal Orange County.

To find out which beach town suits you best, take a drive down Route 1, aka Pacific Coast Hwy (PCH). Star in Seal Beach, OC’s northernmost beach town. From there, crawl south along the ocean passing through Sunset Beach, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Dana Point and San Clemente. The drive takes at least an hour (or longer with beachfront traffic on summer weekends). Don’t worry: it’s definitely worth it!
